WHAT IS PARAMOUNT PREMIER LEAGUE?

The Paramount Premier League was a stellar success in 2022 and the major stake holders such as the league, fans and the teams played a pivotal part in its mesmerizing success. The meteoric rise of the league at domestic level has encouraged the stakeholders associated with the league to begin the second edition which will now commence in the month of Ramzan, this year.

This season the Paramount Premier league will meet the top-level standards in terms of broadcasting, PR, media engagement, advertising on mainstream and social media. While boosting its marketing strategy to optimum level, as it plans to prepare the stadium with astute branding and world class facilities. The flood-lights and the mainstream facilities are absolutely top-notch in Sawar Muhammad Hussain Shaheed Gujjar Khan Stadium and thousands of spectators visit the stadium showcasing their passion for cricket. The second season is a token of appreciation for the compassion of our fans.

Through its cricket fanbase and 16 teams Paramount Premier League has elevated the cricket quality and cricket infrastructure in Army Heritage Cricket Stadium, Ayub Park, Rawalpindi. It has proved to be a major booster in the district for the cricket fraternity in its successful inaugural season which took place in 2022.

Dawn of PPL Season 2

PPL is not just another T20 league to add to the cricket calendar in Pakistan, rather it acts as a pipeline for young cricketers in the city. All the matches will be played at the Sawar Muhammad Hussan Shaheed Gujjar Khan Stadium as the second edition of the cup will commence in Ramzan 2023. It is located in a culturally rich district of Rawalpindi and attained great success and review by the cricket community in its first edition. PPL is designed to make T-20 format a cricketing spectacle on earth by making the matches happen in Pakistan.

High quality and competitive cricket are the two strong facets of the Paramount Premier League. Through cricket, one can unite people and bring a positive change in society. The spectators this season will get high-octane entertainment and scintillating cricket in the second season and will provide a platform for youngsters at the grassroots level to showcase their talent.

TOURNAMENT RULES

  • Around 16 teams will play and 31 matches will take place with
    256 players.
  • Each team will get 2 points for a win.
  • Each team will get 1 point for a draw.
  • 0 points for a loss and 1 point will be given for (No-result) in case
    of match abandonment.
  • All matches will be played according to PCB rules.
